babyheartjo’s free Paht Chee analysis (1)

This week’s querent is babyheartjo, who submitted her request for a free BaZi / Paht Chee / Four Pillars / Eight Characters in early May.  She didn’t ask for a reading in a specific area of her life, so hers will be relatively simple: we’ll set the stage, explore ’static’ interactions within her natal chart, and explore what can be seen in her current Luck Pillars.

As usual, the first steps in any BaZi analysis are identifying the Self-Element and determining its strength, which allow us to figure out the favourable and unfavourable elements:

(babyheartjo) BaZi Paht Chee natal chart with strongly rooted / penetrating to heavens elements
babyheartjo’s chart: note the deeply rooted / penetrating to heavens elements

Self-Element: Yang Earth
Think of the eternal mountains, large immovable boulders. Trustworthy, solid, dependable. Slow to change, though, and probably quite stubborn.

Born in summer when Fire reigns supreme and Earth is strong, babyheartjo’s element is definitely strong.  This is further confirmed by seeing how strongly Earth and Fire are rooted / penetrating to the heavens in her chart (see above).

Favourable elements:

  • Wood  (correlating to Influence / Recognition, Power, Rank)
  • Metal  (correlating to Output / Intelligence, Creativity)
  • Water  (correlating to Wealth / Financial Success)

.

Unfavourable elements:

  • Earth  (correlating to Companions / Friends, Foes, Colleagues, Competition)
  • Fire  (correlating to Resource / Support, Authority)

.
Time for a first round of observations, based on the favourable/unfavourable elements. Take another look at babyheartjo’s chart: can you see where her Water, Metal and Wood are? (more…)
