Question 1: Where should I focus my energy?  Volunteer?  Temp?  Hold out for a proper job?

Interpretation 1:
Having Ganesh, destroyer of obstacles, in your Present indicates that all gates are open.  Literally, a resounding YES to all those options.  This is supported by the Future card, which indicates you attract what you think.  It indicates that it’s up to you to decide where you want to go.  They are all equally viable.  You just  need to choose, then be positive, passionate, enthusiastic about it.  The Merlin card in the Past was a bit of a puzzle, but I think it means that with the help of Energy Healing (perhaps done to/on/for you rather than by you), it has helped bring you to this point where all is possible.

Question 2: What do I need to do to get the job I want and need?

Interpretation 2:
In the recent past, you might have been unclear about your focus, your expectations, your goals, which has now impacted you in your current situation. Interestingly enough, the cards indicate that what you should do about it is forgive yourself and others who have “helped” you to where you are (or are not) today.  By forgiving and letting go, you free your Spirit, and allow the Universe to do its thing.  Trust that the Universe wants only good things for you, if only you let it do its thing.

Question 3:  What do I need to do differently during job interviews?

Interpretation 3:
Interestingly, you get the same card to represent your recent past that directly impacts your current situation. Again, I see this as untapped potential: being unclear in your goals, perhaps not having confidence in your abilities, has led to where you are today.

Strangely, you have drawn a strong romantic, passionate, card for your present.  I doubt the cards are telling you to literally fall in love with your interviewers, but perhaps you might need to woo them in other aspects.  I’m thinking of your passion for the career you want to be in - perhaps you need to let that shine through during your interviews?

Your future card spells to me a cautionary tale: there’s an implication that you will get what you need/want job-wise, but be prepared for it to demand a lot of you.  You will need to make it a point to take time off for yourself, to give to yourself as much as you give of yourself in your work.  Perhaps you should start laying the foundation for this now by taking of your health, diet, spirituality, etc.
