free Paht Chee chart analysis for Mr X: Part Four

Published by *lynne* under Ba Zi, Paht Chee, zMr X Edit This

… and now the home stretch! After having looked at what Mr X’s Four Pillars / Eight Characters had to say here here and here, let’s turn our attention to what is called the Ten Luck Pillars:

Remember that Mr X is a Strong Yang Fire.  Yang and Yang interactions tend to be loud, clashing, challenging.  Without any other knowledge, look at those 10-year pillars.  Do you see a definite Yang / Yin / Yang / Yin pattern?  I would be interested to know if Mr X has noticed a definite up-and-down pattern every decade or so.

Remember also that Mr X is missing Metal from his Basket of Elements.  If you can make out from the table above, Metal is associated with Mr X’s wealth and financial success.  As such, achieving this aspect is probably going to be a challenge for him: he might strive and work hard, but still barely eke out a living, and needs to supplement the missing Metal to bring his luck into balance…

*however*

… periods of time that are of the Metal element would be better years for him financially, since Mr X wouldn’t have to “add” the element, it’s already there working for him.  See the pillars corresponding to ages 33-37 (Good), 43-47 (okay - Yang will clash/reduce the positivity of the metal), 58-62 (Good), 68-72 (okay).

Now let’s take a quick look at each pillar:

3-12 years:
Mr X’s early childhood was probably quite challenging. This was the time for resources, support and authority, but it being all Yang indicates clashes/uphill battles.

13-22 years:
things were good, Mr X got/earned recognition and creativity developed/manifested

23-32 years:
a lot of recognition and influence; however, he might have had to work particularly hard for it.

33-42 years:
an excellent 10 years in terms of wealth or financial success and recognition

43-52 years:
the first 5 years or so are still financially successful, but have to work hard at it. The following 5 years are a time for utilising intelligence/creativity (a different way of looking at or doing things, perhaps). It’s all Yang, though, so expect colorful clashes.

53-62 years:
A second good ten years, a continuation of the creativity from the previous 5 years, and financial/wealth generated.

63-72 years:
a challenging period (all Yang!), but again, there’s Metal in the latter 5 years, so there is still the wealth factor that should work for his benefit.

73-82 years:
a good period. It is only at this stage in life that friends and colleagues come into play: fortunately, they are true friends, not false ones.

I find it interesting that Mr X has a lot of water (very good), earth (good) and metal (good, both as wealth and to make up for its lack in his “basket of elements”) in the years between 13 and 72. As such, he has all the elements in play pretty much all the time. Perhaps an awareness of the overall Yang- or Yin-ness of that particular 10-year period, and the specific elements in play, might help give him the edge he needs to weather the challenges life has lined up for him.

And there you have it.  This has been my overlong attempt at providing an overview of Mr X’s Paht Chee chart.  I hope it has been educational for my readers too.

free Paht Chee chart analysis for Mr X: Part Three

Published by *lynne* under Ba Zi, Paht Chee, zMr X Edit This

Before we move on to the Ten Luck Pillars, today we’ll take a last look at Mr X’s Four Pillars, and see what they say about his luck relating to his children, wife and parents.  In case you’re new, you can catch up with Part One and Part Two of Mr X’s Paht Chee chart analysis.

Here are Mr X’s Four Pillars again, this time with some notes to explain a little bit more about what they represent:

Mr X Paht Chee Ba Zi Four Pillars Eight Characters Chinese Luck Forecasting Chart with explanation

.
Keep in mind that as a Strong (Yang) Fire, Mr X’s most favorable element is Water, followed by Metal and Earth. Elements that are bad for him are Wood, then Fire.  Also, Yang clashes with Yang, therefore Yin (weak) elements, even though unfavorable, would be LESS unfavorable than the same Yang element.

Now take a look at the chart.

  • The only Water appears in the distant column with the least amount of influence on the chart.  Hmmm…..
  • The other elements in the heavenly stem are unfavorable, indicating that Mr X isn’t born with much luck within.
  • The earthly stem also comprises mainly unfavorable elements, indicating Mr X has to work hard to get anything out of life.  This is underscored by the lack of metal, which indicates wealth and/or financial success.

While this doesn’t sound like good news, remember that the abundance of Wood also indicates Mr X will have a lot of resources, support and authority at his disposal.  Combine that with the Fire characteristic of being able to take creative advantage of opportunities that come by, and you’ll see that things are not all bad.  Sure, Mr X’s life doesn’t seem cut out to be a bed of roses, but whose is, really?

Now reread that paragraph in bold, and keep it in mind as we zoom in on the luck relating to children, wife and parents:

  • Mr X is probably too similar to his children, and has clashes with them. They might view each other as rivals, even.  The child(ren) he is closest to would be ones born in the year of the horse. However, even as “close” as he might be with these, there will still be clashes.  Yang vs Yang.
  • Mr X probably gets along slightly better with his parents than with his children. However, the parents’ influence is rather disruptive/doesn’t bring much luck.
  • His grandparents/ancestors provide some balance / luck to you.  Some.
  • Yang vs Yang indicates clashes with his spouse, but she does provide some balance too.

In conclusion: Mr X has a rather challenging chart. However, his creativity and can-do attitude combined with plentiful resources should create opportunities to get ahead in life and make things right.

NEXT: From age 3 to 82, what does the Ten Luck Pillars section say about Mr X’s life? Stay tuned!
