Free BaZi analysis: Tricia’s Relationship Analysis

Today let’s take a look at Tricia’s BaZi / Paht Chee chart, this time with the “Relationships” hat on: has she met “the one”?  To refresh your memory, you can click the links to see the initial overview of Tricia’s chart, and the subsequent career analysis.

Tricia’s chart — note the Peach Blossom Stars!

One thing to note before we go any further is the lack of Fire in her chart.  Everyone needs some Fire - without the warmth provided by this element, the chart is cold, frozen, sluggish, perhaps even stagnant.  Thus, unless Tricia find ways to insert some Fire into her life, she might find herself kinda aloof, dispassionate, and not really participating in life.  Looking from a relationship perspective, the lack of Fire might manifest in the form of relationships that don’t really go anywhere because of the inherent distance and unenthusiasm (is that even a word? LoL!) displayed by Tricia.

Peach Blossom Stars

The first thing that struck me about her chart is the presence of two Peach Blossom Stars, indicated above in red. What does this mean? To quote BaZiQueen: one is okay, two is a lil’ much, three is too many and four is just plain trouble with a capital T.  The Peach Blossom Stars represent that X-Factor, magnetism, charisma and sexual appeal that some people seem to have in abundance.  Ba Zi is all about balance, so if you have too many of these stars present, then those positive factors can start turning negative. You could go from being the center of attraction, to being the focus of stalkers, of unwanted attention, for example.

If you notice, the Rooster’s red star is circled: (more…)

Free BaZi analysis: Tricia’s Career Analysis

Published by *lynne* under Ba Zi, Paht Chee, zTricia Edit This

Today let’s jump right in to deciphering Tricia’s Paht Chee / BaZi chart in relation to her career.  Remember she had a specific concern about an undertaking, wondering if it was worth the risk?  We’ll tackle that below the fold.

Overview

In general, when one goes through favourable Luck Pillars, this would be the time for for career advancement, growth or progress.  As we saw yesterday, however, in Tricia’s case it looks as if such favourable periods only occur very late in life.  This indicates that in general, Tricia might find her career life to be challenging, and perhaps not very fruitful.

Four Pillars: Output factor

Let’s take a look at Tricia’s Output factor - represented by Metal in this case.  As this relates to a person’s ability to perform a job, their achievements and accomplishments, and so on, how this element is affected over the course of her life should indicate something about the health of her career.

As mentioned before, Metal is very strong, deeply rooted / penetrating to the heavens in Tricia’s chart.  Since Metal is unfavourable to Tricia, however, she may find herself being exhausted by her work: a case of having to give heart and soul in order to produce what needs to be produced, perhaps.

Notice that Tricia’s self-element has a Yin Metal to its right, in the pillar that represents, among other things, her boss/superior.  This might indicate a superior who drains her, i.e. one who gets her to produce all the work, but doesn’t give her the credit.  This possibility is supported/compounded by the next element…

Four Pillars: Influence factor

Let’s move on to Tricia’s Influence factor - represented by Wood in this case.  As mentioned before, Wood is also quite strong, deeply rooted / penetrating to the heavens in her chart.

It’s not as strong as Metal though, because Tricia was born in autumn, when Wood is considered dead (while Metal reigns supreme).  As such, while Wood is another unfavourable element for Tricia, it’s not as strong, nor as unfavourable, as Metal.

From a career perspective, the Influence element indicates luck associated with recognition, rank, power.  Since this element is unfavourable for Tricia, periods involving Wood might indicate times of loss of rank, power and influence, or stagnancy.  Poor choices and their consequences could result in being put in “cold storage”, or worse: being laid off, fired, perhaps.  This could also be the consequence of the situation with the boss/superior mentioned above.

Four Pillars: Wealth factor

Let’s now take a quick look at Tricia’s Wealth factor, represented in this case by Water. This element isn’t limited to just money, it does also represent success in general.  As such, this would indicate something about reaping benefits from the effort put into one’s career, or other business opportunities.

While Water is technically an unfavourable element to Tricia, can she nevertheless exert enough control over it in order to reap the benefit of its presence in her chart? I say yes. Why?

  • Her self-element is rooted / penetrates to the heavens, indicating a well-supported Yang Earth (remember: mountains, boulders).
  • The Water elements present in her main chart (i.e. not hidden) are Yin Water. Picture the impact of clouds or rain on majestic mountains: any damage/effect can only be seen in the long term, and the impact would probably be superficial… as opposed to the powerful ocean or a raging river that would much more quickly harm/erode boulders and cliffs in their path.

Zooming in on Water Luck Pillars (ages 17 - 46)

Keeping all the above in mind, let’s now turn our attention to Tricia’s Luck Pillars.  We saw them in the previous post, but today I’ll concentrate on the Water Luck Pillars specifically.  Why?  Since Tricia can control her Wealth element, it looks like this might be the time for her to amass her Wealth.  This will also be the time to talk about that risky undertaking.
