Hi Miss KT,

The cards seemed to be answering an unspoken question: if your underlying intention when asking for the card reading was to save the relationship, then I suppose the cards are saying "yes"... remember that the cards don't do yes/no questions very well, and all I do is try to interpret the cards as best I can.

That said, I'll do another clarifying spread when I next have the chance, and let's see what is drawn, k?

Hi Stephanie,
Hold on, I don't think I said you lack creativity and intelligence...

I stated that the Earth element (correlating to Output / Intelligence, Creativity) is unfavourable to you: this doesn't mean you lack these skills/properties; rather, in general it might be a bit more challenging for you to use / tap into them without 'exhausting' yourself (from Fire comes ash/Earth; Fire is expended to create Earth). I wouldn't say you're not creative, for example, but rather, being creative might not come as easily to you as it does for others.

Hope this helps!

I am actually very grateful you found time to do this in-depth analysis. And, naturally, I'm tickled that I'm able to overcome my incipient poverty this decade.

One question: when you say 'this decade,' which one do you mean? The upcoming one?

Wow, this is incredible. I'm a little concerned at my lack of creativity and intelligence (a real issue for us rocket scientists), but I am heartened that I'm in a good spot now and that I might have some sort of subtle intelligence indirectly.

Hi Jane,
Thanks for dropping by. My opinion of Lillian Too wasn't too positive either, but I didn't want to antagonise/alienate my mentor - I'm so glad she's gone to JY, and got my inertia moving to join her in that "camp" :) Now to figure out if I want to blow a thousand USD on his BaZi courses, which provide a lot more detail than the books!

I would prefer Joey Yap too. I don't really trust lillian too calculations, predictions, and everything about her. I am not against her or what but based on my opinion, she is not qualified to be called as a fengshui master. Her knowledges in fengshui are too shallow and you many never know that her prediction may bring harm than good. So I always think she is a conman in fengshui industry.

Anyway, good article.

Glad you liked the mantra! Its so beautiful. The tune was composed by my teacher Gyalten Rinpoche and was originally sung by his sister Yangchen Lhamo. Its such a powerful prayer...learn it and sing it & it will protect you from sickness & poor health!! Thanks for listening!
Love & Blessings*

Mdm Mid-Life,

Water is your Influence Factor (the list of the five elements and how the correlate was in Part One). What I'm referring to in the section you quoted is that in the Hidden Stem of the Ox, there is Yin Water. This hidden water helps the water in your chart 'penetrate to the heavens' because there is a corresponding Yin Water in the Heavenly Stem of the Hour Pillar. When the Ox is involved in an interaction, it may affect the availability of its hidden stems, thus impacting the strength/balance of the Water in your chart.

I just realised: this Dragon-Ox interaction also impacts the only source of Earth in your chart (Earth correlating to the Output Factor: your productivity, creativity). Again: technically Earth is unfavourable to you, but in terms of the chart's balance, 'disappearance' of Earth will make it unbalanced.

To your observation about your family's zodiac signs being mentioned in the analysis: I don't think there's any correlation between the specific animals in the chart with the zodiac of your spouse / children. The way it's set up, your children are represented by the Rabbit, and your spouse by the Ox, in the natal chart. It doesn't mean your spouse will be someone born in the year of the Ox, for example.

It's not surprising that I mention their zodiacs: if you notice, the Luck Pillars -- usually 9 of them are presented -- systematically go through 9 of the 12 zodiac animals.

Hope this helps!

I'm still trying to digest Part 3. If you could elaborate further on the following comment, i suppose it will help me to understand better

"......I think. as such, Mdm Mid-Life might want to keep an eye out for some challenges relating to her Influence Factor… which could correlate to her authority and success… or it could correlate to her spouse.."

May I ask - Which is my influence factor?

BTW, is there any relation to the reading of my Bazi on the following I'd like to mention.... My husband was born in the year of Snake, eldest - Rooster, youngest - Ox & the middle child - Rat..... incidentally all the zodiac sign were mentioned in yr reading.

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's always good to know when the analysis / reading seems to jive, especially when there are so many nuances and layers I don't even know about yet! :)

Part 3 is now up, and the final post will be up the following day.

Thanks so much for your patience!

Lynne, Thks for deciphering my Paht Chee. I'd say that your analysis is pretty accurate to describe my life/me so far. You see I got married at the age of 23 & indeed I did have many suitors but somehow I found comfort & peace with my husband even till now.

I had a great career with a multinational company. My relationship with my Bosses & Colleagues was good. I got promoted many rounds during that 2 decades & my compensation package was lucrative. I rcvd good bonuses for many years. However, you were accurate to point out that I did not hv time for my kids/family & they were left in the care of their grandma/nanny. My husband has his career hilite & we were two busy bees.

4/5 years ago somehow our luck changed. let me speak for myself. several incidences happen to our kids : one at home & the other at the school. Things like that did not happen before but i suppose our kids were growing up with more exposure/activities & therefore more prone to accident.... though both were minor (maybe a little more than minor) but it got me thinking about my priorities.

After contemplating for quite a while, I decided to focus more time on my priority ie my kids. I gave up my career & hv since been full time home maker....

I am still missing the corporate life quite a bit. I still join some of my ex-colleagues/bosses for lunch/dinner occasionaly. I suppose there is always a price to everything.... & my career is my opportunity cost!

I'm really looking fwd for Part 3. What about the Yang Water & the Dragon.... My kids are growing up really fast? What is next???

After contemplating for quite a while, I decided to focus more time on my priority ie my kids. I gave up my career & hv since been full time home maker….

I am still missing the corporate life quite a bit. I still join some of my ex-colleagues/bosses for lunch/dinner occasionaly. I suppose there is always a price to everything…. & my career is my opportunity cost!

I’m really looking fwd for Part 3. What about the Yang Water & the Dragon…. My kids are growing up really fast? What is next???

Wow, talk about serendipity...yesterday or the day before I was trying to figure out how to start a fan page for my blog on Facebook, too. It turns out I didn't have to go very far for this information, but I also didn't really search much. I kind of "tripped" across this post, lol.

Thank you, Lynne. I've also posted a part 5 that begins the trip through the houses of your astrology chart, starting with your first house Pisces (your ascendant.)

I'm glad that you've enjoyed it and I plan to post a couple of more installments soon. :)

I have never witnessed, or experienced, an exorcism, but I LOVE hearing about stuff like this. It's absolutely fascinating to me and, if the chance arose to participate in an exorcism, I would certainly take it.

I don't understand, why he need to avoid metal, in spite of the small quantity in his chart?

I have a similar distribution of elements, but i have been told to enhance metal and fire.

Thanks

Hi, Lynne. I look at these Paht Chee charts and my eyes glaze over, lol. It's like a foreign language to me which you, of course, you know how to interpret. But I'm an astrologer and I know that people have similar reactions when they first see an astrology chart--all those meaningless (to them) scribbles--but I can read it fine.

Hi mysterytour,
Yeah, we're mutually glazing each others' eyes over, LoL! It's a challenge for me, too, actually - I 'get' a lot of ht ebasic stuff, but there's so much more that I can only glimpse out the corner of my eye... perhaps the next time I'm in Malaysia I'll coincide it with attending a course or two on the subject, so I can meet with Master Practitioners and see if I can learn more by osmosis :D
btw - I recognise the 'scribbles' in the astrology natal chart as the Zodiacal symbols as well as planet symbols [it helps that I majored in Chemistry and joined the co-ed chemistry fraternity whose initiation 'rites' involved the history of Chemistry, alchemy, etc :) ] ... so it's not a ~complete~ glaze-over... but still... LoL!!

Hi mothereagle,
Thanks very much! I'm still learning this art/science of BaZi/Paht Chee, and most definitely, it requires a lot of effort to even begin to try and figure things out. I'm still a beginner, but with a healthy grip on gut feel and common sense, so hopefully I'll be able to learn and understand ~and~ be able to share coherently my findings with the querents. If you learn from all this too, even better! :)

Hi Arlene,

I'd be happy to add you to the queue... if you don't mind waiting until September or so, though! I go through one chart a week, and yikes, the queue is much longer than I ever anticipated it would be!
